You asked for it...

This is for Amy at My Three Men, Jac at The Tubre Quads, Jill at The Kennedy Boys, and Christi (and anyone else who was curious) whose pleads for before-and-after pictures have not gone unread.

I can only find one decent "before" picture. As you can imagine, I either avoided the camera or was the one operating it. But Mr. B's preschool has the 4-year-olds host a Mother's Day Tea and there, last May, is where this picture of Mr. B and me was taken. It's hard to believe now that I ever let myself get so big.

May was the month I made the decision to join Weight Watchers. Mr. C was almost a year old and I was still in maternity clothes. I weighed 15 more pounds than when I came home from the hospital with Mr. C. I had some blood work done in April that was horrendous. And NOTHING I was doing was working, not even breast feeding. So I joined WW, committed to the plan and to myself, and now I look like this:

I wanted Mr. B in the picture, but he refused. But Miss M gladly volunteered. :)

I'm very happy with my new body, though it does need some more toning. My husband did tell me yesterday that he noticed some definite toning in my arms. :) Thanks, hon! Glad to know my 30 Day Shred DVD is paying off. (Has anyone tried this? It's by Jillian Michaels from The Biggest Loser. I'm only on Level 1. I tried Level 2 on Friday and I'm still sore! I do like the workout and try to do it several times a week.) The only real complaint I have now is the excess skin around my middle. Though you can't really tell in the picture, thanks to Miss M's strategically placed knee, there is quite a bit there mostly due to the pregnancy, but partially due to my subsequent weight gain. Now that I'm down to a healthy weight and mostly in-shape, I'm hoping to consult with a plastic surgeon sometime this year and look into the feasibility of a tummy tuck. Couldn't hurt to ask, right? :)

Thanks for all your kind words! A girl can never hear too many compliments!

WOW!
all that came to my mind was WOW!
You look great and congrats on sticking to it.

Also, i have had met many people who after working out had alot of excess skin. They all had to go to do plastic surgery it is a good option. It is pricey though.

Congrats! You look awesome. Way to go. That gives me some inspiration to join WW and lose the 20-30 pounds I should lose.
